Little Pine is a 100% organic and vegan restaurant and all of their profits go to animal welfare organizations. Owner and musician, Moby, has been vegan for over 20 years and has been an animal rights/vegan activist through out his career. If you are interested in learning more about veganism I highly suggest his book, Gristle. It helped me learn so much more about how veganism can save the world. I’ve been to Little Pine twice, once for lunch and once for dinner. I have yet to try their breakfast but I have heard that it is amazing. For lunch our favorites (pictured below) are the “egg” salad sandwich, grilled pear & “gruyere” sandwich, and the tomato soup. For dinner my favorites are the wild mushroom bruschetta, roasted tomato agnolotti, and stuffed shells. When we went for dinner it was on my birthday, so we decided to get all of the desserts, my favorite was the s’mores ganache. Little Pine is definitely one of my favorite vegan restaurants in Los Angeles, whether you are vegan or not you will love it!
